This position will administer the Bridging Rental Assistance Program (BRAP) and Shelter Plus Care (SPC) Program Housing Quality Standard Inspections for Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington Counties.
Must be able to work well with clients who have a mental illness.
Must have experience using Excel and Word, reviewing applications, database updates, monthly reports and billing, approval, denial, or wait list letters, tenancy move-in & move-out inspections, interim recertification, annual re-certification, rent calculations, executing lease agreements and Housing Assistance Payment contracts and amendments.
This position will need to be able to maneuver steep steps and small areas.
Must possess a valid Maine driver’s license, have reliable transportation and be able to travel to outlying areas in Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington Counties.
Must have the Housing Quality Standards certification or be able to obtain.
This position must have at least an Associate’s degree of Business, Accounting or Mental Health Care education and three years of experience.
